Located in Sri Lanka’s central region, Wasgamuwa is one of the island’s lesser-visited national parks, offering a peaceful and authentic safari experience. The park is well known for its healthy elephant population, along with leopards, purple-faced langurs, sloth bears, crocodiles, and over 140 recorded bird species. Its rivers, forests, and grasslands create a rich and diverse natural habitat.
